having emerged from a crop of disco flavoured releases and vocal led remixes a couple of years ago, ashley casselle and asadinho decided to embark upon creating a series of stripped down housey techno dj tools to be used as experimental moments within their own podcasts and dj sets. this degree of honesty, and a desire to hark back to the roots of the music that drew them together in the first place, resulted in the sublime and bouncy *ceefox*. grainy 70s b-movie strings atop an addictive bassline equals a subtle yet huge club moment wherever it is played. we here at murge decided to entice these charming deejays to put out this deep and groovesome tune with us. two remixes come courtesy of new kingpin on the block jordan peak, who takes things into a more stomping club arena, and the beautifully glictchy ambience of julien miers headphone friendly interpretation.

4th and final part of this legendary morris audio compilation series bringing some new (origins sound, manooz) and old faces (volta cab, julien sandre), but keeping the house vibe in different shades. up and coming origins sound (glasgow underground, lost) present a bassy pumping uk house tune whereas volta cab (kolour, hypercolour) goes back the the rave days and invites us to some hardcore heaven. the flipside starts with morris audio buddy julien sandre, who is still some kind of secret underground weapon, even if he already released on argys these days label or on tsuba. finishing off the ep is manooz (alive, extended play) with a great deep and raw house tune. this all is for you, seven daze a week!

26 year old julien perez was the former frontman of french band adam kesher (2007 - 2011). he writes and sings now in french. his songs are urban, ethereal, nocturnal soundscapes, infused with a sweaty variete touch. the way he builds his tracks is tense and sensual, reminding of christophe and la perversita lyrics, as much as of border community label and invisible conga people productions. perez will release his first ep in february 2013 on dirty. it has been produced by pilooski (discodeine, tristesse contemporaine), already supported by laurent garnier and tim sweeney.

french-native and barcelona-inhabitant, shade, makes his rvs debut with this lush and authentic slab of deep house. whilst his name may be fresh on rvs, he is no stranger to house music, having been an active member of the parisian house community for over 15 years. as well as running the much-lauded polyphonics records since 2004, julien shade has made appearances as an artist on illustrious labels such as silver network and pschent.

burkhardts latest stroke, including the hit delight. now we are back again with a charming selection of remixes, including work by tobi neumann and julien veniel aka djulz. tobi neumanns remix reminds the attentive listener to the old days of oslo. it is so to speak on the point. its light, but still complex in a special way. tobi carefully unhinged the catchy vocals of delight, added it at some points and put his glance over it. the b-side is home to djulzs interpretation of pianissimo. a dark and powerful house track, that finds its glory in its simplicity. a subtle piano sample is the basis for a forward moving drum pattern. here and there an eerie vocal shot rises and guides the dancer through the musical mind of djulz.

botox present >basement love<, the first part of their second album >sans dormir<. two years after their previous lp >babylon by car<, cosmo vitelli and julien briffaz decided to unveil this new project through six different moments - call them eps - like six volumes forming a single story, each one being released every two months. the slow title-song >basement love< is released as a way of introduction, along three dancefloor remixes that lift this basement up in the air.
